How to Use Budget Profiles to Manage Your Account Budget

Budget Profiles let you organize your account balance into sub-budgets for specific campaigns or templates. This helps you track spending and manage funds more effectively.

Creating a New Budget Profile:

  1. Go to the Budget tab → Budget Profiles.

  2. Click Add Budget Profile (top right).

  3. Enter a name for your profile and select the associated templates or campaigns.

  4. Click Save to create the profile.

Funding Your Budget Profile:

After you have created your budget profile, you need to fund it.

  1. In the Budget Profiles page (Budget tab -> Budget Profiles), click Move Funds.

  2. Choose the budget source and destination profiles.

  3. Enter the amount to transfer.

  4. Click Yes, Please Transfer to confirm.

Setting A Budget Alert

  1. Go to the Budget tab → Add Budget Alert.

  2. Enter the alert name, select the Budget Profile, and specify the alert amount.

  3. You’ll receive an email notification when the balance reaches your set limit.

Setting Auto Load Funds

  1. In the Budget Profiles page, toggle Auto Load Funds on.

  2. Enter the auto-load amount, select a payment method, and add the recipient email for alerts.

  3. Click Save.

Please note:

  • Auto-load triggers a transaction automatically when the profile balance falls below the set amount.

  • You can disable auto-load anytime.

FAQs

Can I create multiple budget profiles?

Yes. You can create and manage multiple profiles from one page.

Can I transfer funds between budget profiles?

Yes. Use the Move Funds button to transfer money between profiles.

What if a budget runs out of funds?

If a budget profile has insufficient funds, and you try to send a gift, the system will attempt to use funds from the General Budget. If there aren't sufficient funds in the General Budget, the gift cannot be sent.

Who can manage Budget Profiles?

By default, only admins can manage budget profiles.
To give other roles access, go to:
Users tab → Manage Roles → Select Role → Budget → Enable “Budget Profiles.”
