Managing Your Account Settings on Gifted

The Settings section on Gifted lets you control how your company account functions— from email notifications to branding, time zones, and custom fields. This article will guide you through the General, Address, and Custom Fields tabs.


To access your account settings:

  1. Log in to your Gifted account.

  2. In the left-hand menu, click Settings.

  3. Choose from the three available tabs:

    • General

    • Address

    • Custom Fields


General Tab:

This tab includes your core company preferences.

Notification Email:

Set the default email address where Gifted sends account notifications and alerts.

Business Name:

Customize the business name displayed on your account.

Company Logo:

Upload your logo to personalize your Gifted environment.

Choose your preferred system time zone and date format. These apply to logs, reports, and activity tracking.

Toggle this option to receive weekly summary reports. You can add multiple recipients for broader visibility across your team.

Recipient ID Requirement

Enable this if you want to require a Recipient ID for each gift sent—ideal for tracking and internal reporting.

Call-to-Action Appearance

Customize the appearance of the gift button for embedded or branded experiences:

  • Fill Color

  • Border Color

  • Text Color

API Key

Access your current API key for integrations. You can also generate a new one when needed. For setup, check our API reference docs.


Address Tab

Add or update your company’s physical address. This may be used for:

  • Internal records

  • Invoicing or documentation purposes

Ensure this information is current to avoid delays or miscommunication.


Use this section to create and manage custom fields for gift records.

Examples include:

  • Department

  • Campaign Name

  • Employee ID

  • Budget Code

Custom fields help you tag, organize, and report on gifts with more granularity —especially helpful for large teams or multi-department use.


Don’t Forget to Save

After making changes in any tab, always click the Save button to ensure your updates are applied.
