We are excited to announce our new country option: International!

This option allows you to easily send gift cards accepted in multiple countries, all under one country. This article will explain what this means and how you can use it to send gifts to your recipients.

What does it mean?

The International country option combines gift cards that can be used in multiple countries. You can select the International country to allow your recipients to choose international gift cards and Swag.

How to access this functionality?

The International country option is accessible from the People tab, Campaigns, and Multiple Choice Gift. This means that you can use it to send gifts through automated campaigns and manually select individual recipients.

Assigning recipients to the International Country:

If you are unsure where your employees are located, you can assign them to the International country on the People tab.

Using the International option for campaigns:

You can assign the International country to your birthday, work anniversary, or any other campaign you like. This allows you to send international gifts to your recipients for special occasions easily.

International Country Option VS. Universal Link:

While the International option works from the Multiple-choice gift, we recommend using the Universal link.

The Universal link allows recipients to choose the country they are located in and select local brands in their country. However, the International Country option only allows the recipients to select international gift cards or Swag.

The International Country option only allows international brands to be selected in USD:

On the other hand, the Universal link allows recipients to convert the gift amount to their local currency and choose from local brands in their location.

Use cases for the International Country option:

The International option is perfect for a variety of use cases, including:

  • If you don't know where your recipients are and want to send them gifts through automated campaigns.

  • If you have recipients who are traveling occasionally.

  • If you want to send an international gift to your recipients in USD, do not convert the gift amount to their local currency.

Pricing Model:

An international country gift does not need to be converted to a local currency, so the gift amount equals the gift price.
